Dedicated Volunteers

Horseheads Fire Companies

Past to Present

The Village of Horseheads organized a Fire Department in July of 1873. The purpose of the Fire Department was for the protection of life and property. Over one thousand one hundred thirty six ( 1136 ) men and women have served the citizens of the Village of Horseheads as well as neighboring towns and villages in New York and Pennsylvania from 1873 to the present.

To this day we maintain the protection of life and property and we are very proud to be a part of your community. We thank all of the people that have valiantly supported us in our continuing effort to remain the best we can be. It has been an honor to serve. Thank you.
