Two tractor trailers collided at the Eastbound intersection of Interstate 86 and Grand Central Avenue. The front bumper of one tractor trailer ripped apart the side saddle fuel tank of the other tractor upon impact, spilling 105 gallons of diesel fuel onto the roadway. Mutual aide was utilized from Town & Country FD, Horseheads Village PD, Chemung County Sheriff's Dept, NYS DEC, Horseheads Village DPW, and Chemung County DPW. | |
