GRAND CENTRAL AV & FAIRPORT LN.

         Crews were called to the scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident, car vs. dump truck, at the intersection of Grand Central Ave. & Fairport Ln. at around 5:00pm.  The incident commander arrived on scene within minutes and found one person trapped in the taxi van with serious personal injuries.  Rescue 1034 arrived shortly thereafter, the driver's door was pried open using the HURST Tool and the victim was immediately extricated and sent to the hospital.  Emergency crews remained on scene for nearly an hour clearing the intersection
