Units responded a reported kitchen fire at an address on Westinghouse Rd in the village.  Chief Sullivan and Assistant Chief Margeson were on the scene within two minutes with Engines 1034 and 1031 arriving shortly thereafter.  Upon arrival the fire, which started on the kitchen stove, was smoldering with moderate smoke throughout the residence.  A water can was used to cool the stove and surrounding areas before the stove was removed.  Damage was contained to the surrounding cabinets.  There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
